    The curriculum used at the IT Training Center has been proven to effectively communicate complex technology issues in ways that students can understand. Curriculum revisions are regularly made to insure learner outcomes are achieved.

    Our trainers are given the freedom to adjust the delivery of curriculum up to 20% of total content in order to best meet the needs of those being trained. In corporate settings, the IT Training Center has full latitude to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of the organization.

  • Professional Setting
    The IT Training Center provides a corporate setting to experience intense hands-on learning. Our ten training labs can be adapted to meet the most diverse of training needs. These labs are also open to students any time a class is not in session.
  • Small class size
    Low instructor to learner ratios offer more individualized instruction.  Classes are, at times, delivered for just a single learner.  
  • Convenient Scheduling
    Classes are scheduled during day and evening hours. For businesses, IT Training Center offers a convenient corporate setting to conduct one-day seminars or comprehensive long-term training programs. Training can also be delivered for companies at an on-site location or a neutral site more accessible employees.
  • Location
    The IT Training Center is conveniently located in Eagan, MN and provides easy freeway access and hassle-free, no-cost parking. The IT Training Center is a 7 minute drive from the MSP airport, and less than 15 minutes from Bloomington, Richfield, Burnsville, Inver Grove Heights, Downtown St. Paul, and South Minneapolis. Public transit is available for daytime classes.

Services that facilitate meeting goals:
  • Career Counselors
    Professional IT career counselors are available to help determine a path that meets the learner’s or company’s needs and objectives.  An inventory of the learner’s existing skills and knowledge is reviewed and aligned with the course(s) which help achieve the goals set. 
  • Certification Testing
    The IT Training Center is an authorized VUE testing center so tests can be taken as soon as course is completed.  Certification exams can be scheduled same day or thru the VUE website.
  • College Credit
    As part of Dakota County Technical College and a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system, the IT Training Center can provide college credit for many courses. These credits can be applied towards college degree programs  or a company tuition reimbursement program.

  • The IT Training Center guarantees to solve your training or IT challenges by developing a plan that’s right for your company. IT Training Center’s network of business and educational partners has the resources to keep your IT department on track.
  • One example is Blue Cross/Blue Shield: The IT Training Center has helped BlueCross/BlueShield of MN adapt to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and move to a web-enabled insurance system. The IT Training Center delivered several eJava Developer Training Programs to BCBSM employees which addressed the intricacies of protecting a client’s privacy, while simultaneously allowing access to certain permissible information to the insured, insurance agents and BCBSM personnel.
