Strategic Partnerships
The IT Training Center has formed strategic partnerships with IT/computer training and service providers in order to deliver the most comprehensive schedule of technology course offerings and breadth of services possible. The combined partner-driven IT/computer course offerings, delivery options and services are unsurpassed by most other IT training providers in the Upper Midwest.
These partnerships represent a seamless and successful blending of public and private education/services organizations.
The Training Associates
The Training Associates, a leading provider training and training services, extends their experience and resources to the IT Training Center of Dakota County Technical College. The Training Associates has 2,000 trainers on agreement, taught over 500,000 class-days, and offers over 10,000 standard and custom IT and professional business skills courses. The Training Associates is a Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions.
The partnership combines to deliver the top quality Microsoft technology classes using some of the best trainers available. Companies are welcome to apply Microsoft Software Assurance Vouchers toward payment for Microsoft IT classes co-sponsored by the IT Training Center of Dakota County Technical College and The Training Associates.
Unique Software Corporation
The partnership with Unique Software Corporation dovetails the collective strengths of our organizations to provide the best value possible to IT Training Center clients. Unique Software is one of the largest Education Resellers in the upper Midwest whose mission is to provide educational institutions, faculty, staff and students with leading technology at a cost effective price. Discount pricing on software is available to all registered IT Training Center students and discounted pricing on training classes is available to all Unique Software customers.
Ascolta
The IT Training Center of Dakota County Technical College formed a strategic partnership with Ascolta in July of 2003. Ascolta is an Irvine, CA-based Cisco training provider. This partnership draws on each partner’s collective strengths while providing learners with the broadest array of Cisco courses and delivery formats available. Courses in Cisco routing/switching, security or the exploding area of voice are available at the IT Training Center.
MnSCU partnerships
The IT Training Center has formal partnerships with CustomTraining/Continuing Ed. Departments at four Colleges. All Colleges are members of the MN State Colleges and Universities system. A common schedule of IT/computer courses is promoted to each partner’s constituents and clients. Each College contributes the strength of their own programs/courses/resources to make programs better for all. The partner Colleges are:

Fastlane
The IT Training Center of Dakota County Technical College formed a strategic partnership with Fastlane in July of 2009. Fast Lane, a leading provider of advanced IT Training courses, offers complete Authorized training solutions for Cisco, NetApp, IBM, VMware and Ubuntu. This partnership draws on each partner’s collective strengths while providing learners with the broadest array of courses and delivery formats available.
